Blessed To Be A Blessing

Did you know, that some of the TOP 3 givings in the world were...

Relief Efforts…
9/11 – 3,000 DEAD
Tsunami – 126,000 DEAD & 37,000 missing (possibly dead)
Hurricane Katrina  - 1800-2000 DEAD
--rough estimates

The best part about this, is that the Church was at the forefront of that giving. How cool is that? The way people pull together to encourage, lift up, and financially support someone in crisis. Especially on behalf of Christ.

Did You Know?...

6,850 people die in America every single day.

That’s like having 9/11 & Katrina EVERYDAY in America.

As good as giving to provide food & shelter for people is…
…There is no greater giving, than to propel the Word & see eternities changed.

And often times, social work is an amazing way to spread the love of God
and spread the  light of the Gospel.

The greatest giving, is giving that propels the Gospel.
…to reach the lost, keep teenagers off the streets & out of gangs,
restore marriages, winning souls, prison ministry, launching new churches etc.

We need to understand the urgency of winning souls!

Proverbs 3:9-10 – Honor God with your very best!
NLT – “…with the best part of everything you produce.”

We need realize how important it is to step up and GIVE to our Church. To pour into your local Church with all of your gifts & talents. Especially financially. Too many people quiver and shiver when the Church even mentions money. WHY??

The truth is that a Church wouldn't exist without money. Just as any other entity or organization cannot continue to function without financial support. That's just the reality of the situation, and that's ok! Hey I couldn't feed my family without cash either!

Some of you business owners aren’t stepping up & stepping out.
The purpose of your business is to help fund "God’s business."

It better be a cold day in Hell before you put your business ahead of soul winning.

Imagine how much more your business or pay rate or other opportunities would increase when you make giving your model for business. Look at TOMS Shoes! A secular company that is catching on!

If the "world" is able to catch this spirit of giving, and is seeing increase,
then what the heck is the hold up? It's time to launch out into the deep!

God Wants Us To See Increase In Our Lives!

There’s nothing like being blessed to be a blessing.

Who's Navigating Your Life?

Life is journey. Plain and simple. And lets be honest, sometimes the road is rough and the destination is...well...typically unclear. But what if I told you that I knew a guy with an infallible road map, and this map had suggestive dos & don'ts. I would say they're more like "Road Rules". You see, we live in a world where every decision we make, every word we speak and every thought we think has the power to steer us in any direction we choose...what power! (Proverbs 18:20-21)

"When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild.
...But whoever obeys the law is joyful.(NLT) Proverbs 29:18

Some of us tend to feel completely lost 100% percent of the time! When was the last time you went on a road trip? Ever take a wrong turn, or thought you knew a "short cut"? Or you swear up and down that you know the directions to your destination but NEVER seem to reach it? Well here are some simple "Road Rules" to keep you on track!

1.) Stop & Look Around!
What are we doing to lead us off course? Compare YOUR directions with the infallible road map.

2.) Admit it & Quit It!
I know I know! It's like a real life game of "Operation". It straight up hurts! But you cannot effectively redirect your life, if you won’t even admit that there is misdirection. Let alone do anything to fix it. It's difficult but you can do it! It's the only solution to road pollution! Heb. 12:11

3.) Move Forward!
It's never too late for a fresh start! Remember, feeling forgiven has nothing to do with being forgiven. Don't let guilt rule your present, it will only ruin your future. So take a deep breathe and keep on truckin'!

"So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen your weak knees.  13 Mark out a straight path for your feet so that those who are weak and lame will not fall but become strong." (NLT) Hebrews 12:12-13
